The idea behind
With this project in the Sustainability Navigator, Remondis is helping members of the FRZ Zurich Airport Region make their disposal sustainable and efficient.
Our goal, together with Remondis, is to ensure that every company has the opportunity to introduce its waste into the recycling cycle in as environmentally friendly a manner as possible. We want to ensure that all companies have access to competent contacts who are available to answer their questions and help them implement sustainable waste management solutions.
This commitment aims to create added value for the environment. Through close cooperation and tailor-made disposal concepts, we can jointly increase the efficiency and sustainability of our processes.
How does the whole thing work?
Remondis records all orders from participating companies, evaluates them and summarizes the results in an annual sustainability certificate. This shows in concrete terms how much CO₂ was saved by members of the FRZ airport region, which recyclable materials were recovered and which ecological effects were achieved.
In this way, sustainability in the network is not only discussed, but also made measurable. Companies benefit from clear analyses, practical recommendations for action and often also from cost savings. At the same time, they make an important contribution to protecting the environment and resources. The project combines ecological responsibility with economic benefits and thus creates added value for companies, the region and nature.
