Categories, prices and conditions of membership.
Company contributions are based on the number of employees and the company's location. These are to be paid per calendar year. The respective categories and annual membership fees from January 1, 2024 (excl. VAT) are as follows:
The membership fees for categories 1-3 are based on individual benefits (employees / sector, etc.) and are set out in a separate agreement.
* The FRZ member municipalities include: Bachenbülach, Bassersdorf, Bülach, Dietlikon, Dübendorf, Kloten, Nürensdorf, Oberglatt, Opfikon, Rümlang, Volketswil, Wallisellen, Wangen-Brüttisellen and Winkel.

Members can attend business lunches, CEO lunches, special events and workshops at a special price.
Please note that these participant numbers only apply to company members. Guests of members pay the corresponding non-member price depending on the event. If you are attending an event with more people from the company than your category allows, the additional people must also each pay the non-member price.
These are valid for the current calendar year.
In the interests of promoting innovation and successful location development, the FRZ Zurich Airport Region also welcomes start-ups: Start-up sponsorship memberships with a 50% discount on the category are available to companies if they develop new technologies (e.g. in the PropTech, ICT, pharma, biotech or FinTech sectors - usually for the first two years). For other young companies or start-ups that use technologies but do not develop them themselves, the normal price for 1-9 employees applies.
Yes, this is generally possible in exceptional cases with category 7. A basic condition is that the person is resident in a member municipality and fits into our network in terms of their professional position. The FRZ Executive Board decides on admission on an individual basis.
These are set out in the Articles of Association as at March 21, 2017 and amount to three months before the end of the calendar year, i.e. by September 30 of the current year.
In its Articles of Association, Article 3, the FRZ states that members should identify with the Zurich airport region. The regulations of the FRZ Zurich Airport Region provide information on the admission of new members. If you are unsure about the criteria, please contact the office.
