Wallisellen - officially a city since July 1, 2022 - borders the city of Zurich in the southwest, Opfikon and Kloten in the north, Dietlikon in the east and Dübendorf in the south. Wallisellen is particularly attractive for tax purposes. The airport is 16 minutes away by public transport; Zurich Central Station is 9 minutes away.
Wallisellen developed from a rural village into an agglomeration town that was able to preserve much of its original settlement structure; which the population highly appreciates. In the Hörnligraben and Hardwald, the population has large natural areas at their disposal, which are actively used for walks or sports.
